Become a certified Volunteer Ombudsman — Do you want to make a difference?
A Certified Long-Term Care Volunteer Ombudsman makes regular visits to long-term care facilities to talk with residents and their families. They provide information about Resident Rights, the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, and make observations.
They provide a face to a vulnerable adult who may be in need of just someone to check on them. More than 60 percent of vulnerable adults in long-term facilities get little to no visits. Be a part of their story and make a difference today.
