Vertigo: When Your World is Spinning

Event Details

Pelham Medical Center logo

Vertigo is the sensation of moving or spinning that is often described as dizziness.

Vertigo can be scary because it can cause poor coordination, stumbling and distorted balance, making it difficult to walk of even stand. While these symptoms rarely signal a life-threatening condition, they can signify problems in the vestibular system.

Join us for lunch and hear Amy Muncy, PT, DPT, NCS with Spartanburg Regional's Rehabilitation Therapy Services, explain the vestibular system, share how vestibular balance disorders are diagnosed and provide information on therapy options available.

This event is free, and lunch is provided with registration. Space is limited. Registration is required.

Conference rooms A&B on the first floor inside the main lobby. Parking in the rear of the building.
