Policy Manuals
The manuals, “Aging Services Policies and Procedures – Updated Policies” and “Aging Services Policies and Procedures – Foundational Policies,” are intended to be used together. The Foundational Policies manual contains policies and procedures that remain in effect unless specifically revised or replaced in the Updated Policies manual. The Updated Policies manual contains policies that have been reviewed, revised, or reformatted as part of the South Carolina Department on Aging’s ongoing policy modernization process and in response to the 2024 Update to the Administration for Community Living’s Older Americans Act Regulations.
