The Hilton Head Island Recreation Association, located at 20 Wilborn Rd Hilton Head Island, SC 29926 will host a Dementia 101 The Basics course on October 6, 2026 from 1-2 p.m.
Dementia 101 is a comprehensive introduction to dementia including types, stages, warning signs, ways to reduce risk, navigating a diagnosis, current treatments, and resources available in our state.
The course will be taught by Cameron Harrison, CDP, a Dementia Care Specialist for the South Carolina Department on Aging.
