The ElderCare Trust Fund awards grants to non-profit organizations that create programs to help our state's seniors live in dignity at home. Only non-profit organizations are eligible to receive grants from the Fund. The ElderCare Trust Fund does not make awards directly to individuals. One hundred percent of donations go toward promoting and funding the Eldercare Trust fund and the programs that provide services to seniors.
This year's Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) begins June 1, 2025. SFMNP is designed to help supplement the diets of low-income seniors with fresh, nutritious produce while supporting South Carolina's local farmers. This seasonal USDA grant program allows qualifying individuals to purchase unprocessed fruits and vegetables from authorized farmers’ markets, roadside stands, and community-supported agriculture programs.
We are currently accepting applications for the geriatric loan forgiveness program. Successful applicants must meet certain criteria. This program is only for geriatric fellows.
