Submit an Event

The South Carolina Department on Aging (SCDOA) welcomes the opportunity to share knowledge on aging, as well as the efforts of others to do the same in South Carolina. We are excited to inform others of these opportunities with our calendar of events.

If your organization is hosting an event and would like to share the news on our calendars (www.aging.sc.gov and www.GetCareSC.com), please complete the following submission form for review. The event must meet the following criteria:

  • Is open to the public
  • Is senior-focused
  • To help or inform seniors, those with disabilities, caregivers, and/or veterans

To assist you better, we ask you to submit the form a minimum of three weeks before your event. Your event might be shared via our social media if the event were accepted for our listing.

SCDOA works with a network of regional and local organizations to develop and manage services that help seniors remain independent in their homes and communities. If you would also like to request someone from our organization/network participate in this event, a separate request will need to be submitted.

Helpful things to consider or include in your Event Description are the type of event, event provider, intended participants, speakers or agenda, registration deadlines, cost, etc.

For best results, limit your image to logos and simple photos, and resize your image to 900x700 pixels before submitting.
