Learn how to become a Certified Long-Term Care Volunteer Ombudsman. Certified Long-Term Care Volunteer Ombudsmen makes regular visits to long-term care facilities to talk with residents and their families. They provide information about Resident Rights, the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, and make observations and advocate as trained.
Registration is required. The location to be announced once registration is completed. Virtual Training is an option ONLY if you are unable to attend in-person.
This will be a two-day training event.
• The first training will take place Feb. 12 from 10 am. - 4 p.m.
• The second training will take place Feb. 13 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
